This afternoon’s session! More coming soon! For this one, I looked at any koi tattoo designs. Actually so many, they probably all mixed up in my head. I finally chose one of Horicho designs then traced and traced until it changed to my flow, and I really started feeling it. Colour/texture wise, well it will be my style. I want it to feel much more like an orange/red/black/white koi carp,with a more natural texture feel to it, as opposed to the traditional shading. Kind of mixing tattoo technique with painting style. However, it will be fairly bold and strong, but with many details. Looking forward to show you the progress on this piece.
