Dragon Head Tattoo Study

Dragon Head Tattoo study. The client is quite specific about what he wants. Yet I don’t manage to get away from the traditional look. I have tried so many ways. I guess it will take a while to find out more options. For now I will stick to traditional and will keep thinking of ways of improving this. It is almost like if the spirit was contained within the lines. Note: this one is fairly quick marker and pencil, Ideally I should work on my lines width and variations, textures & shading. I’ll do this if he likes the overall feeling. I initially wanted to go for a more ‘wisdom’ look, he wants more fierce! Here we are!
